    CSS errors

    I've ran my CSS through the W3C CSS validator, its validated the page but it's brought up a number of errors regarding div's not having background color etc.

    Do you pay attention to these and go through and set color and background-color for every div?

    I was under the impression that the warning are there because the CSS validator is unsure of how they will display in the browser and it's telling you just to make sure.

    The validator seems to want colors for everything but I never worry about it and it doesn't seem to cause problems with IE or Firefox or Netscape.
