Can anyone recomend where to start to build a e-commerce site? Specifically I am looking for books or other tutorials on the actual construction of the site.
  • account management
  • ability to use credit card payment
  • tax and law
  • any sort of account nightmares I will deal with
  • order processing. Who gets the notification that something has been purchased? how? etc.


I have not been able to find anything on amazon that has peaked my interest... granted though I spent only about 5 minutes looking.
