Hi, i am doing a client area on my site and am wonderig what must be the best way to get protection on passes and inside content, i heard SSL might do it...

Thinking you're talking about Admin Panel or Control panel like client area.

Just use it, SSL, it's the popular method to protect the web content between the host and your customer's browser. ..it's guaranteed by the HTTPS provider..

Ask your hosting provider, they will tell you some solutions about HTTPS..that's commercial.
