table alignment!!!

Hi,
I'm new, and I don't know codes yet:-( I use dreamweaver 8.

I made a web page 1024*560px width and height. I wanted that this page is going to fit automatically, vertically and horizontally center on the 1280px or bigger screen resolution. Horizontally center is ok, but I can't make vertically center.
I think, I should use table, because I want to put a photo as a background in the middle of the page.
