Using Outlook Express or Outlook you should be able to download POP3 emails and leave a copy on the server, so it's there to download on your other computer later.
Web mail like Hotmail shouldn't be a problem as the emails stay on Hotmail's server however many times you download them until you delete them from Hotmail.
Code downloaded to my PC will be deleted in due course.
