Hi, My real name is Karen. I am studying Web Design at Tech and have joined this forum hoping that I will be able to learn new things, meet some fellow Web Designers (and wannabe's).

I work at the Tech I am studying at, so it is night classes for me. Long days and even longer nights. lol.

My passion is horses, but as these are expensive critters to keep, I need to look at ways to increase my income. I am hoping that setting myself the goal of website design at Diploma level will help me there. I would like to work from home full time, so that I can care for the horses and my family better.

If anyone wants to give me pointers in any of these things, I would be glad of the advice.

I am also fairly new to using a computer for the purpose of interacting with the internet, rather than just using it as a research/information tool. Any suggestions that would be helpful here would be welcomed as well.
