Advanced critique please

I'm not new to web design or graphic design but regardless I can always get better so please take a quick look around at the different sections and give me some critique at what is good, what isn't and what I could do to improve. At this stage I'm mostly concerned about overall design, navigation, layout, load times and information clarity. I'm constantly working on it so any suggestions you make can possibly be put into effect.

I'm not too happy with my navigation system right now but when I change it I want to keep the overall design relatively the same.

Also, I'm currently working on turning the large splash on the main page ("Latest Protoss Wallpaper!") into one of those dynamic flash slideshows fyi.

the background texture is great.
the only negative feedback I would have is that the articles/posts need to have some degree of separation. The whole page seems to blend together.
You are using CuteNews arn't you?
You should use the Mod ReWrite Hack.
I use it on my site. It builds BEAUTIFUL seo friendly links.
Also you need an RSS feed.
