Fresh from HTMLSource/W3Schools

Hello everyone, I just finished HTML, XHTML and CSS tutorials from HTMLSource and W3Schools. I started the tutorials around two months ago, and eventually got to this phase of the tutorial. I registered a few days ago but hesitated to post... honestly I was nervous,,.. but, enough of that, here goes nothing.

For my first project, I offered to change layout of my friend's website. I'm not really sure if that's the right move for a first-timer. Also, I dared to take out all tables and rely only on CSS.

I know I came to the right place, so please take time to review my website. Your feedback is very much appreciated.
