Get user's interests/hobbies

Hello,

I'm working on a website where a user can add their hobbies/interests to their profile. I want them to choose from a list so I can keep the sicko stuff out of the database and to make finding users with things in common easier.

I was thinking about a triple drop down box, something like:

What's your opinion on this? Does anyone know of a website where I can see something like this? Compiling a list myself will take millions of years and would be stupid if it already exists.

Yes, that is a good idea to do it that way.

What are you programming in?

You can make your triple interest list fairly easily. It shouldn't be too hard to come up with a set of lists.
