im def not professional, need help uploading

Im trying to create a homepage. I have a forum at www.polishedandwaxed.com/forums, but i cant get my homepage www.polishedandwaxed.com to load what am i doing wrong?
I named it polishedandwaxed.html and using smart ftp just put it in the main folder. thanks

uhh it most likely has to be named index.html
