    has anyone seen this done in html? (sliding drawer design)

    click the link to see. it's like a sliding drawer type design, this example is in flash, but i'm pretty sure it can be done in html.

    You can do this with pure CSS and turn it vertical and extend it down as far as you want:-

    The sliding tabs have links inside, but it could be just anything.
    Code downloaded to my PC will be deleted in due course.
    WIN7; IE9, Firefox, Opera, Chrome and Safari for Windows; screen resolution usually 1366*768.
    Also IE6 on W98 with 800*600 and IE8 on Vista 1440*900.
