Mount of Venus, multiple knowledge sites

Hi there, Im the owner of models of Identity dot com, (http://www.modelsofidentity.com) I just launched a new website called Mount of Venus (http://www.mountofvenus.com) where I would like to publish a diversity of topic pages, mostly involved with the wellness of humanity, from cooking tips to magic spells, ... in Fact the subjectless nature of this web site is the essence.
I heard that by making a web site with unrelated subjects, I have the risk of not being considered by search engine spiders, or at least rank very low.. is this true? do I have to make a website where all the subjects are related in order to rank higher? why can't I have a web site where I post random ideas and at the same time, keep a high rank along my pages? please experts.. give me your suggestions.
