How to develop Good Design Sense?

Hi Everyone...

I am Yachika and new to this forum. I would like to know how many of you have good design sense. Is there any tip that you would like to give to a beginner who is into web designing.

Browsing around and look how other websites designed.
Careful that the good design does not mean a good looking website only.

Currently a good design must have some additional points like:
- Search Engine Friendly.
- How your design can attract customers to buy or to subscribes as soon as possible.
