    using text as an image

    Hi
    I have just made a website but found I had problems viewing my chosen font on other computers (kept coming up completely different!) so have had to change it to arial which I'm not too keen on.
    Is there a way of maybe creating my text in photoshop and saving it as a jpeg, then inserting it into my page? I'm using frontpage. I tried it really quickly but the text looked fuzzy when I put it in the design. Is photoshop the best thing to use? Or is it something to do with the size im saving the jpeg at?
    Thanks

    You do need to use fonts available to everyone:-

    unless you use an image with text on it as you are trying to do. If the font looks OK in Photshop but not in an html page, has the size changed? Make sure the image is not resized when put into an html page. Photoshop should do what you want and it should display the same when in a webpage.
    Code downloaded to my PC will be deleted in due course.
    WIN7; IE9, Firefox, Opera, Chrome and Safari for Windows; screen resolution usually 1366*768.
    Also IE6 on W98 with 800*600 and IE8 on Vista 1440*900.
