It sounds as if you need a CMS (Content Management System). This means that someone has to design and build the page(s) initially, identifying places where someone with no coding experience can update fixture lists, match reports, photos, etc.
Snippetedit http://www.snippetedit.com/ is a simple CMS; the places that can be edited are marked with <snippet>......</snippet> tags and someone with a username and password can only access those places but cannot wreck the rest of the page coding.
Having said that, someone needs to have a watching brief in case someone tries to put 10000 words in a space designed for 100.
It's also a good idea to put a size code on images which is outside the snippet tags so that someone can only change the image url and whatever size the image is, it will be resized to fit.
A more complicated CMS is Joomla.
Or set up a free forum like phpbb http://www.phpbb.com/ so that people can chat; most forums allow images to be uploaded.
Code downloaded to my PC will be deleted in due course.
