    Where do go from here

    I posted some time ago and got help so here goes again!

    A year ago, someone built my website, maintained it, everything.

    Now he is done. (yeah... great)

    Sent me files, said he uses Joomia. We did transfer ownership of my domain but now I need to make changes to the site and have no idea what to do with the files he sent.

    He sent :

    localhost.sql (to be uploaded as database)
    Images folder
    Templates folder

    He said I can download Joomla at joomla.org and replace the images and templates folders with attached for your layout.

    I also work on a IMac if that makes things more difficult.

    I like to use GoDaddy to host it but haven't gotten that far.

    How do I proceed???

    1. Is the domain in your name yet? If not then you'll need to sort out the transfer first.

    2. Do you have your own webhost or are you using some space that the web designer gave you?
