I think that you have done a great job balancing the fact that you have a lot of information with good clean navigation.

The URL rewriting schema you use could be a little cleaner, but it gets the job done.

As far as layout, one thing you can consider is visiting http://www.stripegenerator.com/index.php?page=index and making a set of subtle background stripes for each page category. I think that could help pop the site content a little more.

Great job though, I love sites like yours with good content that is manicured and well groomed.
