Putting a ticker over a flash movie

Heloz,

Ok so i have a flash movie ....nice and smooth animation
happenin ther........also on the page i placed a nice typographikly sound news/update ticker......this ticker runs thru java script and pulls updates(text/images) from a text file....

however the client wantsthe ticker OVER the flash.......so i was thinkin maybe if i cud have a translucent layer over one corner of the flash and let the ticker run there....
i cant make it work.....how does one put any content over a flash movie....i tried an apDIV which has 2 issues....
APdivs keep going under flash content and refuse to be over them....
being Absolute the APdiv will not move with the auto-stretch table underneath.


any info would be much appreciated.....thanx...
