DW is expensive; it helps to know some basic HTML and CSS; you can learn from an online tutorial like http://www.w3schools.com/
I should postpone purchase of Dreamweaver for a few weeks until you understand the basic codes.
If you use DW in Design WYSIWYG mode the coding is all done for you and you never learn anything. Th ecode it produces in this mode is over-complicated because a computer program has to cope with all situations, but manual coding can be much simpler.
Code downloaded to my PC will be deleted in due course.
WIN7; IE9, Firefox, Opera, Chrome and Safari for Windows; screen resolution usually 1366*768.
Also IE6 on W98 with 800*600 and IE8 on Vista 1440*900.
