Header.html and Readme.html = Suicide?

Hello!

I am having a bit of an issue here!

I am running a small server, for my business. I am using Xampp. I have figured out how to use Header and readme to manipulate the way the autoindex looks.

HERE IS MY DILEMMA!

In order to do the above, I have to manually add those 2 files, to some 4000 folders.

So, is there a way I can possibly make an .htaccess file point to the readme and the header files in a root directory, that way all the autoindexers will use that and use the files I suggest in the htaccess.

The way my folder setup looks is Xampp/Htdocs/
