I need advice on how to go about building a website like...

Hey guys I just got a great opportunity to make some cash from a friend of mine, he wants a site very similar to this with the music players and all, http://www.thefreshbeat.com/index.php.

Now by the tag at the end of index I realize this is a PHP type website, I have not much experience with php besides an e-mail form, I do however know my way around html and css.

How can I go about doing a website similar to the one linked above? I think this is a great opportunity for myself to learn while making some money. I have searched the net a lot fro answers but I mostly keep getting sent to word press and other free blogging websites.

Read some PHP tutorials from W3school.com.
PHP is a very fast and efficient language. It is most preferable language. Why don't you watch out PHP, you will get its experience too which is good for you. Ya but if you hav no time then try to search more and more features of HTML and CSS. CSS is also really cool.
