Question Helpful reads for a new webdesigner

    Hello

I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions for some good educational books regarding any and all aspects of web design. I plan on attending school and earning a degree, however I'm going to have a very slow start and probably a few years before I can start any classes that have anything to do with web design.

In the mean time, I was hoping to teach myself and start on my portfolio. I'm not a complete newbie to HTML and I have the basics down, as well as basic CSS. I already have the Head First HTML, with CSS & XHTML.

Is this a good series? Are there better ones? I have ADD, so I love how its written.. makes it easy to read..

    Thank you!
