Question CSS, how to make div flush with top/botom

Hello! I was wondering how you can make one, single div box, completely flush with the top and bottom of the browser without absolute positioning? i know how to make it flush with the top but then how can you make it flush to the bottom as well?

    There's an example here:-

    Look at the source code.
    Hope that helps.
Code downloaded to my PC will be deleted in due course.
WIN7; IE9, Firefox, Opera, Chrome and Safari for Windows; screen resolution usually 1366*768.
    Also IE6 on W98 with 800*600 and IE8 on Vista 1440*900.
