Hidden <br> tags??? driving me crazy

Hello everyone first time poster. The url under question is http://beardbattles.com/winningest.php

I'm just trying to figure out why the source code is telling me there are two <br> tags after the menu div, when there are none in the script? What am I missing? Please someone help - it's driving me crazy. Especially since the <br> tags aren't showing up when I put the menu in the same place on http://beardbattles.com/index.php - it works just fine there. I just want no space between the menu div and the table.

    Thanks in advance!

    -Derek

I would imagine whatever program you used to build those pages is shafting you. It (or you) has/have also mixed tables and divs in a seriously unorthodox way. I'm pretty sure that combination is where spacing comes from and that's where the problem is. I can't really see any reason to use tables in that layout at all, so I'm recommending that you turn off DW or whatever you're using, bring it up in notepad, go to hand coding, simply delete the <br>'s, test it in your browsers (not in your program's view screen), then eventually try to get rid of the tables and use nothing but styled divs in your layout.
