Why is my website doing this?

Alright, so before the problem, I'll give you guys some little background to work from.
I'm a new designer, fairly young, and this is my first website.

I made the website in Photoshop and sliced the sets and such, and in order to get text on the body slice, I had to use a Divtag, which was all fine and dandy;
however now it doesn't stay where I put it, and instead veers off onto the background.

Hi kaitlyn I would suggest that you learn some html and css and compose the layout using divs. If you want I could help you with this, just reply back and I would be happy to do it presuming its just the 4 pages I can see.
