File sharing interface for clients?

I operate a video production company and I often need to receive files from clients (images, graphics, clips, audio) or send them videos. Some files can be over 4 GB. Commercial services such as YouSendIt are not a viable alternative for us as we want to keep our clients on our web site.

I've looked at some PHP alternatives, some free some not, but I'd rather go with referrals from people who've tried them out. Nothing too fancy: separate account and directory for each client, customizable privileges, etc.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.
