How to make the keywords rank?

First set the keyword in landing page and highlight it. Do forum posting( use signature to link the keyword) , submit article to make your keyword ranking.

I think you have to do Public bookmark management which is the best strategy for improving keyword and key phrase position. My personal expertise says that Public bookmark management is the best way.
