hi Webmojo, you're on the same side of the pond as me, I too use Dreamweaver but I use the code view mostly to code the html and css the WYSIWYG in Dreamweaver is a bit like trying to render a site in IE5
Hi all my name is Steve
I run a small web design company in Doncaster South Yorkshire. I joined the forum as designing can be a lonely business and sometimes you do get questions you can't answer yourself and need a little help, so I plan on helping when I can and asking for help when I need it.
I find that in this business that its a constant leaning process, I design on a Linux system using open source tools like Kompozer , Gimp and Inkscape.
I deliberately stopped using tools like Dreamweaver and Fireworks as I found I could design in the WYSIWYG environment and use the software and I think it made me a lazy designer. I now spend most of my time working directly with HTML and CSS
